TROOP 99 LEADERSHIP POSITIONS
LEADERSHIP POSITIONS FOR SCOUTS AND ADULTS
Senior Patrol Leaders and Assistant Senior Patrol Leaders are elected positions in the troop. These leaders are the ones that facilitate troop meetings and set an example for younger scouts by living the scout oath and law on a daily basis.
Patrol Leaders and Assistant Patrol leaders lead their individual patrols and participate in Patrol Leader Meetings, which is our form of meeting planning. They also lead their patrols during competitions and other scouting events.
Guides and Instructors are a part of every patrol, and teach new scouts the essential skills all scouts should have. They also demonstrate what it means to live by the scout oath and law.
Librarians, Scribes, and Historians document and organize what occurs during Troop 99 events, they also assist with the organization of troop supplies and maintain troop equipment.
Den Chiefs are leaders of Cub Scout dens, these leaders assist with cub scout activities and help develop younger scouts to explore and begin teach them what it means to be a scout.
No troop is complete without the adults to help keep things together. Troop 99 is always looking for active parents to help participate in committee meetings and scout trips. We even encourage adults to become leaders and merit badge counselors.
